- Check to see if the computer's power cord is plugged into and seated firmly in the computer.
- Check to make sure the computer's power cord is plugged into the wall.
- If your power cord is plugged into a power strip ensure then repeat steps 1 and 2 for the power strip.
- Did the button by where the power cord plugs into your computer get turned off? If so, turn it on.
Hold down the power button until the machine turns off. Wait 15 to 30 seconds, then push and release the power button.
